Dixon Automotive Services started by Ted Dixon in 1963, Jeff (brother) started his apprenticeship with Ted soon after.Jeff grew up in Eight Mile Plains on Brisbane’s southside and now lives on the bayside.
The business has been running at the current premises in Mansfield for 17 years and prior to that had a workshop on the corner of Logan and Broadwater Rd. It is a great location as it is close to public transport and major shopping centres making it easy to get around once you have left your car with us.
The Staff consist of Jeff and Julie Dixon, Troy Dixon (son), Trevour Cramond (Trevour had his own sucessful workshop for many years) Dale Lipp and Danielle Dixon (daughter).
Over the years Dixon Automotive have looked after over 2000 customers. Their clients are typically older people who have been coming to service their cars for over 30 yrs, and now they have there families coming to us as well. They usually live local but we have clients who continue to come to us even after they have moved away. One of their clients travels from Caboolture to get their car serviced!
Dixon Automotive are also active in the community, and they look after a lot of local business fleets and have serviced and maintained the school buses of the Christian Outreach College on Wecker Rd for over 10 yrs.
