Services offered by Dixon Automotive Services
Standard Service: Performed everytime you car is with us our standard service includes many things other places only do at “major service” times. Doing this ensures we can monitor any wear and tear on your car so you’ll never have any nasty unexpected repairs. A standard service includes the following:
- Change of oil and oil filter
- Test coolant and cooling system
- Check brakes, tyres and suspension
- Check battery, spark plugs and leads
- Check all other fluid levels
- Check all belts
- Check wiper blades
- Check all bulbs and lights
- Injector Clean Treatment (on applicable vehicles)
- Written report on any findings
Premium Service: Our Premium Service includes everything covered by our Standard Service but with a few extras. We recommend you have a Premium Service done on your vehicle every second service or if you only have your car serviced once a year a Premium Service is the way to go. Alot of our fleet customers take advantage of our Premium Service each time they have their cars serviced, as it gives added protection to hard working vehicles. Our Premium Service includes the following:
- All Standard Service items and checks
- Engine Maintenance Pack - consisting of Wynns Friction Preventative, Injector Clean and Engine Flush (providing increased engine protection and oil efficiency)
- All minor bulbs replaced if neccessary
- Wiper blades replaced if neccessary
- Windscreen washer additive
- Tyres blackend
- All windows polished - inside and out
- Interior deoderised
- Door hinges lubricated
You can be assured you will never have any unexpected costs when you leave your car with us to be serviced.
Please note: you can bring your new car to us for servicing without voiding your warranties. You do not have to return to the dealer to have your car serviced
Automatic Transmission Service : Your transmission is the second most expensive component in a car. 90% of failures are due to a lack of servicing. We recommend you have your Automatic Transmission serviced every 12 mths. Transmission failure can cost in excess of $2500, so save yourself some money and have your transmission serviced not replaced.
Power Steering Flush: Proper maintenance on your power steering system will ensure a longer life and less leaks on your pump and power steering rack. The Power Steering Flush, not only thoroughly changes your power steering fluid but also conditiond the seals for longer life. Have you had your power steering
